Belle Meade Homes

Belle Meade homes are some of the most expense in the state of Tennessee with the average price of sold homes in 2011 being $1,053,795,  and the average size  being 4354 square ft.  Most of the homes in Belle Meade were part of the original 2600 acre Belle Meade plantation built by John Harding. Used primarily for breeding the top race horses in the world was a thriving business, but Belle Meade like most other businesses in the south never recovered from the civil war,  and all of the land was sold or auctioned by 1906.

With easy access to downtown Nashville via state hwy 100, and interstate 40, Belle Meade real estate is very popular with professionals who work at Vanderbilt, HCA, and other companies based out of downtown Nashville.
